What Is A Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is simply an exfoliating solution containing actives including alpha-hydroxy (AHA) and/or beta-hydroxy (BHA) acids applied to the skin to help the body shift dead skin cells. I use a mixture of Meso Peels and AlumierMD’s to ensure I have access to the best and most customisable peels, so I can treat a whole range of skin conditions; Acne, Rosacea, ageing, pigmentation.
Customised exfoliating peels reduce the visible effects of sun damage, including fine lines and discolouration, and boost radiance, in each clinically proven application.
Results can be seen after just one treatment, which takes around 30 minutes with no downtime. In-clinic peels give the greatest results but using at-home products between appointments can increase the benefits (AKA better, longer-lasting results and therefore more from your investment). Arriving with clinic-ready skin means it’s prepped for anything — ready to respond to active ingredients.
It works the other way, too: Chemical peels are a minimally invasive way to exfoliate the top layers of the skin, making it plump and primed and allowing for easier absorption of all the active ingredients from your daily skincare routine, so they technically make your skincare work harder.
Chemical peels can be a game changer for your skin health and you will leave with soft, glowy bright skin.
