Lip Filler & Enhancement in North Yorkshire

Natural‑looking volume, softness and definition

Lips naturally lose volume, definition and hydration as we age. Fine lines may appear around the mouth, lipstick may bleed, and the lips themselves can look thinner or less balanced than they used to.

My lip rejuvenation treatments are designed to gently restore softness, shape and structure using high‑quality dermal fillers – often called lip fillers – while keeping your lips looking like your lips, not someone else’s.

At Lois Daisy Aesthetics, my focus is always on subtle, natural‑looking results. As an Independent Nurse Prescriber with over 10 years’ experience in aesthetics, I don’t believe in overfilled or overly “trendy” lips. Instead, I work with your natural anatomy to enhance what you already have.

I offer lip rejuvenation from my pop‑up clinics in North Yorkshire, including Thirsk, with more locations planned.

FAQ
  • Lip fillers use a gel made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the skin that attracts and holds water. When placed carefully into the lips and surrounding areas:

    1. Volume and structure are restored
The filler adds gentle volume and support where it’s needed, helping lips appear fuller yet still soft and natural.

    2. Hydration improves
Hyaluronic acid draws moisture into the area, often making lips feel more hydrated and comfortable.

    3. Shape and balance are refined
Strategic placement can enhance the Cupid’s bow, improve symmetry and support the corners of the mouth.

The results are immediate, with initial swelling settling over the following days. Depending on the product used and your individual metabolism, lip fillers typically last 6–12 months.

  • Lip rejuvenation may be suitable if:

    • Your lips have lost volume or definition over time

    • Lipstick bleeds or feathers into lines around the mouth

    • You feel your lips look a little tired, dehydrated or “deflated”

    • You’d like a soft, natural enhancement, not a dramatic or “done” look

    • You have naturally uneven lips and would like a more balanced appearance

    You will need to be:

    • Over 18

    • Medically suitable following a full consultation and medical history

    • Not pregnant or breastfeeding

During your consultation, I’ll assess your lip shape, dental support, facial balance and skin health, and we’ll discuss what you’d like to achieve. If I don’t believe lip fillers are right for you – either aesthetically or medically – I’ll explain why and suggest alternatives where appropriate.

  • Lip rejuvenation is a bespoke approach to lip fillers that looks beyond just size. Using soft, hyaluronic‑acid based dermal fillers, we can:

    • Restore lost volume in lips that have thinned with age

    • Gently enhance shape and definition, including the Cupid’s bow and borders

    • Improve lip hydration so lips appear smoother and more supple

    • Soften the appearance of fine lines around the mouth in suitable cases

    • Subtly balance asymmetry between the top and bottom lip

Rather than aiming for a “one size fits all” look, I design each treatment to complement your unique facial features and proportions, with a strong emphasis on ageing well and long‑term skin health.

My Approach to lips:

subtle, balanced, “you but fresher”

No overfilled or “trout pout” lips

My aesthetic is very clear: no overfilling, no distortion, no trends that won’t age well.

  • I work conservatively, especially if it’s your first lip treatment

  • I prioritise shape, structure and hydration over sheer size

  • We may build results gradually over multiple appointments if needed

The aim is that your lips look soft, healthy and quietly enhanced, not that anyone can immediately tell you’ve had filler.

Safety‑first, nurse‑led care

With a background in dermatology and aesthetics, and as an Independent Nurse Prescriber, safety is always my first concern.

  • I only use high‑quality, reputable filler brands

  • I have extensive training in lip anatomy and complication management

  • I will always give you honest, realistic advice – including when to say no

We’ll also talk through any previous filler you’ve had and, if necessary, discuss options such as dissolving before re‑treating, to maintain the health and integrity of your lips.
